MetaTrader Accounts

TraderPilot supports both MetaTrader 4 and MetaTrader 5 trading accounts. The connection and management process is the same for both platforms.

Adding a MetaTrader Account​

From the TraderPilot dashboard, open the Trading Accounts page. This page displays all trading accounts currently connected to your account.

Select Add Account from the top-right corner of the page. A window will open where you can choose the copier service and select either MetaTrader 4 or MetaTrader 5 as the platform.

After selecting the platform, complete the account connection form. For Trade Copier accounts, you must also choose whether the account will be used as a Master Account or a Slave Account.

Enter an account name, select the correct broker and server, and provide your MetaTrader account ID and password. The account name is used inside TraderPilot to help you identify the account.

TraderPilot will send the provided credentials to the selected MetaTrader server for verification. The account will only be connected after the credentials have been verified successfully.

Incorrect Account Credentials​

If the account ID, password, broker, or server information is incorrect, the connection will fail and an error will be displayed.

These authentication errors are returned directly by the MetaTrader server. Review the entered information, confirm that the correct trading password and server have been selected, and try again.

The account will not be added to TraderPilot until valid credentials are provided.

Modifying a MetaTrader Account​

To modify an existing account, open the Trading Accounts page and select the pencil icon beside the account.

You will be taken to the account details page, where you can review and manage the account information. From the General Settings section, you can update the account name, account number, and password.

Additional options are available in the Connection Settings section based on the copier type.

For a Trade Copier account, a Slave Account can be connected to a different Master Account. You can also change the copier template assigned to the account.

For a Signal Copier account, you can change the Telegram channel connected to the account.

Make sure the updated credentials and connection settings are correct before saving your changes.

Viewing Account Analytics​

An eye icon is displayed beside each connected account. Selecting this icon opens the analytics page for that specific account, where you can review its trading performance and account data.

Account analytics are available only with an active Core Plan. If the Core Plan is inactive or expired, the eye icon will be disabled and the analytics page cannot be accessed.

Removing an Account​

To remove an MT4 or MT5 account, open the Trading Accounts page and select the trash icon beside the account you want to delete.

A confirmation message will appear before the account is removed. Once confirmed, the account will no longer be connected to TraderPilot.

You can add the same account again later by following the steps in the Adding a MetaTrader Account section, provided you have an available account slot.
